Washington, the Father of Our Country also stakes a claim to being the
Father of the Presidential Doodles. While doing his assignments, young
Washington (age 14) meticulously filled in alternate boxes in the frame
at the top of the page and along the line that runs down the middle.
However, his doodling didn’t prevent him from mastering mathematics
and he went onto become a successful surveyor. |
